GRANBY VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION CEREMONY
NOVEMBER 11, 2023

2023 TANK DISPLAY DELIVERED AND SET

The tank was delivered to the Granby Veterans Memorial on June 27, 2023.
The committees would like to thank C.R. Levesque out of Monson, MA for hauling the tank to the site from Fort Devens and Hampshire Towing out of South Hadley, MA for setting it on the concrete pad at the memorial. Expertly handled by the professionals.

2022 CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY...

2020 UPDATED DESIGN!

Our proposed building site is on open land along North Street. The elevated site located near State Street and North Street in the center of Granby, MA offers an ideal location for a respectable memorial.

As depicted in the heading of our web site, the stone walls will reflect the local vernacular of New England stone walls which are found throughout the Town of Granby.

The walls, benches, earth, and trees define a private interior space of contemplation and refection while still being connected to the surrounding landscape.

The construction of the memorial is hoped to be a community effort with residents volunteering money, materials, time, and skills.

The success of Granby Veterans Memorial Project is made possible by private donations.

All contributions- small or large, personal or corporate- are sincerely appreciated.

Make your tax deductible donation today!
